I get a better pump in my biceps when I supinate my wrists and then sqeeze hard at the top of the curl

Stabilizer muscles are the triceps not shoulders. Shoulder is secondary stabilizer for curls

Awesome instructor. Real clear.
However, did you know that the bicep rotates accross the elbow joint and into the radius. This means the number one purpose of the bicep is not to flex the elbow but to laterally rotate or supinate the wrist. This is why by moving the wrist your bicep will fire. A good idea will therefor be to rotate the wrist when doing this curl in particular.
